Celebrating Women’s History Month: Nzinga Shaw

As Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer of the Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena, Nzinga Shaw is the first person to hold this position in the history of the NBA. Her role includes developing a strategy to embed diversity and inclusion in all programmatic activity, governance, and daily administration of the Atlanta Hawks.

Previously, Shaw served as Senior Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Edelman, the world’s largest and most profitable public relations agency. It’s her commitment to leading organizational change through diversity that makes her an inspirational figure for women of all ages and color.
